The Church of Light has some wonderful books that teach spiritual astrology in a clear, logical, and consistent way. You owe it to yourself to read about their teachings and techniques. C_of_L will then help you analyze your charts using their methods.

This program is free for your own non-commercial use and you may copy it and give it to others as long as no price is put on this distribution. This program can do calculations from 1200 to 2400 - if you want to do calculations for years outside this range, then you have to download the Swiss Ephemeris files for the years you desire.
